Hi, this is Eric Gardiner from EXP Realty with a quick end of year December market update for homes in Salt Lake City Utah. Closed sales in December fell slightly but were mostly flat. December is historically a slower month for sale because people dont want to move during the holidays. Being that it was relatively flat I take as good news because activity was similar rather than down a lot like previous months in the year.
The median days on market decreased to 35 days in Salt Lake County. This is great news and shows us homes are moving. Some homes are still getting multiple offers if they are competitively priced, well-presented, and in demand, while others linger on the market, emphasizing the importance of a strategic approach when selling your home in Salt Lake City Utah.
Overall, these trends underscore a reasonably healthy market in Salt Lake City Utah. The mix of multiple offers and varying market times shows the dynamic nature of the real estate scene.
